Uckfield has several outstanding Ofsted Primary schools and a highly regarded Secondary School and sixth form. There is an excellent range of private schools including St Bedes, Ardingly and Cummor House.
The Sussex coast can be easily reached with great shopping and entertainment to be found within Easbourne and Brighton. The Royal Spa Town of Tunbridge Wells, Gatwick Airport and the M23/M25 motorways are all within a convenient driving distance.
Locally there is also a wonderful choice of days out, leisure facilities including golf clubs and spas. Sheffield Park, Lavender and Bluebell railway, Wilderness woods, Drusillas, Bentley wildfowl, East Sussex National and Piltdown golf club, Gyldnebourne opera house and Lindfield horse racing are all wonderful family days out. There is beautiful scenery and historical homes in the surrounding area with access to the South Downs and fabulous walks and trails.
